2007 - A New Hope

Lori Hinytz takes over as the new team advisor. The team now has to recover from losing both John Budish and many former seniors. Thankfully, the team's new leadership promises to be more organized and a much stricter attitude. The team has more members and has planned more activities than ever before.

Game - Rack 'N Roll


The 2007 FIRST Robotics game is called Rack 'N Roll. Two alliances of 3 randomly selected teams compete to score "ringers" onto the "Rack." The Rack is an octagonal structure located in the middle of the field that has 3 rows of "spider legs." Each of the spider legs has a round stopper at the end to keep the ringers from falling off. The ringers, along with the keepers and spoilers, are inflated inner tubes commonly used as pool toys. Keepers are the tubes used during autonomous while spoilers negate the ringer that was occupying the spider leg.

Robot - Packbot or The Raptor


This year's robot features a 6 axis arm that is used to manipulate the game pieces.
